Hi, you have a system that was only used on very late model Focus Mk2. The Cooling Fan is directly controlled by either the Engine Control Module (ECM) for normal cooling, or it can be controlled by the Air Conditioning Fan Control Module (A/C FCM). plugs out, tester in place, disable fuel system (pull pump fuse or relay out) throttle fully open..carry out test. wet. after each dry cyl test, remove tester, squirt half teaspoon of oil down plughole, retest as above. if wet test improves the compression, sign of worn rings. Quote.
