The2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class engine cranks over but won’t start: There are many possible causes, but we know it is neither a battery nor a starter problem. Just remember: a vehicle will always require air, fuel, and the ignition to operate. Check the fuel. You may be out of fuel, or the fuel isn’t getting to your engine.
Theold one had a crack in the plastic that would leak gas. The new pump and new seals fixed that problem. This was just related to a CEL for a very small emissions leak. If the gas smell on fill up ever comes back, I will be looking to Mercedes to honor the extended warranty for this problem. Thanks Tony
